Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the re-qualification take?

That mostly depends on you – if you have all the documentation you need and are able to qualify on your first try, you should be in and out in well under an hour.

What does the re-qualification fee include?

The $40 fee includes the range fee, eye and ear protection if you do not have your own, a PILB certified firearms instructor to administer the re-qualification, and the PILB licensing fee. You do not need to bring any extra money orders or funds once you’ve booked your re-qualification online.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Our re-qualifications are first-come first-serve, so we recommend booking a convenient time as soon as you’re able to. Your current armed work card will display your re-qualification months, so you have plenty of advance notice. We are not often able to accommodate same day or last minute bookings, due to instructor availability.
